    You’ll learn about biological survey work, species identification, and more. You’ll learn to apply abstract theories to real world situations. Perhaps more importantly, you’ll gain the practical laboratory skills you’ll need to take up a career in the life sciences, either academically industrially or in the not for profit sector.

    This degree program is very flexible, and you’ll be able to specialise your educational journey by selecting optional modules throughout the second and third years of the program. You’ll also have the option of taking a year in a paid working placement, spending a semester studying abroad at one or Worcester’s partner universities, and doing exciting fieldwork in the UK and France.

    Learning & Teaching

    The University of Worcester relies on several different teaching methods. These vary from module to module, based on the subject matter and the preferences of the course tutor. You’ll do a great deal of independent reading and study, attend large formal lectures, learn in practical skills workshops, work in the laboratory and in the field, and attend quite a few group tutorials and discussions. You’ll also conduct a project of your own I year three.

    Entry Credit

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. A good IELTS score would qualify, for example.
