    Course Summary

Ulster University’s MSc in Health Psychology is dedicated to providing its students with a global perspective in psychology using flexible, innovative teaching techniques. The UK government and many other health bodies all around the world appreciate the need to use psychology to improve their people’s overall health, especially in terms of making healthier lifestyle choices and avoiding risky behaviours.

Health Psychology is all about helping people manage their lifestyle choices better, reducing the risk or effects of non-communicable, behaviour-linked diseases like obesity and diabetes. In this program, you’ll learn all of the skills you need to pursue a career in psychology generally, and health psychology specifically.

By the time you complete the program you’ll also have completed your Stage One professional training in Health Psychology. The program is fully accredited by the British Psychological Society, and is one of Northern Ireland’s most respected pathways to practicing as a professional psychologist.
