Course Summary
The University for the Creative Arts’ BA degree in Interior Architecture and Design is amongst the most well established in the UK today. It investigates the way we use interior spaces of all kinds – homes, offices, factories, schools, etc. – and gives you the ability to see the potential for what these spaces could be.
You’ll discover how to transform spaces effectively, artistically and efficiently over your years in the program. You’ll learn to draw interiors, and how to study them both in the abstract and in human context. This degree is intended to be industry-facing, so you’ll also gain the kind of business skills that will help you make the most of your career.
As you learn, you’ll also work with clients in the community, in industry and in business. This will give you the real world, client-oriented skills that employers demand. They’ll be all the more important if you opt to open your own office or business.
If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits.
