    Course Summary

    The MA in International Jewellery Management from the University for the Creative Arts is an exciting, innovative and creative degree program.     Course Outline

    This MA course is delivered over 1 year of 3 terms.

    Term 1

    In the first part of this program, you’ll have three core units. In Promotion for Jewellery, you’ll explore the strategies and practice of marketing your product. In The Business Lecture Series, you’ll come to understand the realities of business practice in the media industry. In Global Supply Chain Management, you’ll be able to follow the entire process form procurement, supply chain analytics and logistics, in ways specifically relevant to the jewellery industry.

    Term 2

    In the Future Trends module, you’ll explore ways to predict and model upcoming trends in the industry. In International Business Strategy you’ll learn the concepts, tools and principles of formulating business strategy.

    Term 3

    In your final term you’ll dedicate yourself to you Final Creative Industries Project. This will be essentially self-directed, but you will have the support of the academic staff. You’ll be aided in this by the Ideas Development and Project Management module.

    Learning & Teaching

    The UCA’s Learning and Teaching Facilitator works to make sure each unit is as accessible as possible to students and maximally relevant to their careers. The university relies on an Open Platform to make it easy for students to find and utilise events and resources to improve their own learning, and support meaningful reflection of your own work as well as the work of others by incorporating Peer-Supported Review in most modules.

    Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 1 year MSc degree.
