Course Summary
The University of Bolton’s LLB program is a Qualifying Law Degree, and fully recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board (via the Joint Academic Stage Board and the Legal Training Review) to qualify successful graduates to seek training contracts. After completing your training contract, you’ll be fully qualified to practice law as a barrister or lawyer in the UK.
You’ll learn the law of England and Wales in great depth, and have opportunities to study international, European or Scottish law as well. Or if you prefer, you can choose a specialty in nearly any aspect of the law, choosing classes which suit the career path you most hope to follow.
You’ll learn in formal lectures and study sessions, to be sure, but you’ll also learn via activities such as moot debates and mock legal hearings, all in a purpose-built courtroom which simulats the real world experience perfectly.
