The University of Bolton’s Psychology BSc is designed to teach you the core concepts of psychology – the scientific study of the mind and human behaviour. It will prepare you for a wide range of careers, to pursue a graduate degree, or to study for Chartered Psychologist status.

You’ll study learning, socialisation and the development of language, as well as how to counsel patients and treat various mental illnesses. More importantly, you’ll come to understand the science that underlies the discipline of psychology, and how that scientific approach makes what you learn applicable to people’s lives. You’ll do all that in the University of Bolton’s state of the art teaching, research and laboratory facilities.

Note that this degree program is fully accredited by the BPS – the British Psychological Society. Successful completion with lower second class honours or better gives you eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership, putting you well on your way to coveted Chartered Psychologist status.
