This year will primarily se you learning the basic concepts of business management and the tools you’ll need to apply that knowledge in an international context. You’ll learn to understand management from both the quantitative and qualitative perspective, as well as practical aspects of accounting and general economics.
The second year of the International Business Management course will impart to you a deeper understanding of research and data, including research design as well as methods for collecting and analysing data. You’ll learn to conduct interviews and to observe organisations in a meaningful way.
You will also begin specialising in a topic that you feel passionate about, upon which you can build a career. It might be anything from marketing to management science or operations management. This will help prepare you for year 3.
In your final year in the International Business Management program you’ll take more optional units, as well as preparing your dissertation. Your dissertation will take up the bulk of your research and study time.
