    Course Summary

This fully accredited BSc program from the University of Buckingham is an excellent choice for those students who want a ‘full package’ business education – including a year in professional working placement, but can’t take 4 to 5 years to attend a standard Honours BSc degree program. It will give you an in-depth understanding of both disciplines as well as vital practical experience in just three years.

This is an intensive, accelerated degree program. Most universities only offer BSc degrees as 3 or 4 year programs on their own, whilst Buckingham makes it possible to earn a fully accredited, well-respected BSc degree in just two years, or with a year in working placement in only three. As these degrees make excellent first steps towards a Master’s program (at the University of Buckingham or elsewhere), you could earn your MSc in less time than some students take to earn a Bachelor’s degree!

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, you will have gained many transferable skills. By taking the conversion route into law, you are showing motivation and determination by choosing law at a later stage than some others. This looks good to employers.
