    Course Summary

    The University of Buckingham offers a uniquely business focused Psychology degree program. Psychology is a vital discipline to almost all businesses, informing proper management decisions with regards to everything form HR Management and Aptitude Testing to Ergonomic Design. It covers the core theoretical content required for BPS accreditation, but also adds content on business-related research and a wide range of practical business and management psychology skills.

    This is an intensive, accelerated degree program. Most universities only offer BSc degrees as 3 or 4 year programs, whilst Buckingham makes it possible to earn a fully accredited, well-respected BSc degree in Psychology with additional Business and Management content in just two years. As these degrees make excellent first steps towards a Master’s program (at the University of Buckingham or elsewhere), you could earn your MA, MBA or MSc in less time than some students take to earn a Bachelor’s degree!

    This degree program is typically delivered over 2 years at full time.

    By the end of the program, you’ll be able to relate a wide range of theoretical perspectives to actual clinical or industrial examples. You’ll also have a deep understanding of how practical psychology can impact a business environment. You’ll also do in-depth work on computer aided experimental design and SPSS.

    Learning & Teaching

    The University of Buckingham’s Psychology with Business and Management program uses a range of teaching methods. Every module is fast paced and intensive, yet each is different. Most make use of independent reading and large lecture classes to convey the bulk of the information you’ll need to now. Groups of 4 to 6 students engage in tutorial sessions to get a deeper understanding of the material. You’re also likely to engage in computer based learning.

    Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a fully accredited BSc degree.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test such as the IELTS.
