Earning a Bachelor of Science in the Biological Sciences means exploring the incredible diversity of living beings and the immense complexity of the living relationships hidden throughout the world around us. This program will give you both a deep theoretical understanding of life processes as well as the kind of practical research, communication and critical thinking skills that can be applied to nearly any career, in or out of the sciences.

You’ll have built up a solid scientific background in critical thinking and problem solving, a solid set of laboratory skills and a practical understanding of research and data analysis as well. This degree could also prepare you for work in the pharmaceutical, health care or biotechnology industries.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, you will have gained many transferable skills. By taking the conversion route into law, you are showing motivation and determination by choosing law at a later stage than some others. This looks good to employers.
