The curriculum is absolutely state of the art, and will see you spending a great deal of time with local patients in a clinical context. In fact, clinical placements begin in year one, and continue throughout the program.

The environment is welcoming and highly multicultural, designed to be supportive of international students at its very core. Both the university’s own teaching staff and NHS education providers teach, working together to ensure that you learn everything you need to practice medicine with competence and confidence.

You’ll learn in Preston campus’ top of the line clinical skills laboratories as well as in clinical placements throughout the first years of the program. In the latter years you’ll see patients at several locations including the North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and several GP practices throughout the Cumbria and Lancashire regions.
