    Course Summary

    The University of Chichester’s MBA program is focused on helping tomorrow’s mangers become skilled, multidisciplinary professionals. You’ll explore Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Strategic Management, Marketing and Human Resource Management, all in a modern and supportive learning environment.

    You’ll learn about more than accounting and finance, though. You’ll gain a good general knowledge of the business environment and an understanding of the factors which affect modern businesses. The modules you take will be experiential and actively engaging, helping you to implement what you’ve learned in a realistic manner.

    You will have several opportunities to engage with real businesses as part of a work placement. You are encouraged to take a full year of paid work placement between years 3 and 4, and you can take a 10-week placement as part of year 3 as well. This will not only give you highly marketable work experience, it comes with a substantial pay packet.

    If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness.     Learning & Teaching

    Chichester’s Business School avoids the large lecture class format adopted by most UK universities, preferring to work with smaller groups of students in highly interactive tutorial sessions. This not only conveys the module material more completely, it helps students learn teamwork, collaboration, communication and time management skills. In addition, students will have many opportunities to do real world work interacting directly with commercial, industrial and business entities beyond the school.

    Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 3 year BA degree.

    Applicants must typically have earned 3 A Levels at CCC or higher, but other qualifications are also accepted. The full list of accepted qualifications can be found here.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An excellent IELTS score would qualify, for example.
