    Course Summary

You’ll explore a wide range of practically focused business projects over the course of your studies. You’ll study concepts like continuous improvement, strategy development, leadership and the needs of a modern HR program. You’ll also explore many topics on the theoretical level, and gain a deeper understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research methods.

A typical monthly session will begin with a reading review where an assigned book or paper is discussed, and related specifically to the content of the last meeting or module. This encourages deeper engagement of both scholarly and research-based material. Next will come a group work session where the material is related to practical workplace situations and business functions. You will also participate in a wide range of group and individual projects. These can be discussed and arranged with the teaching staff.

    Learning & Teaching

Chichester’s Business School avoids the large lecture class format adopted by most UK universities, preferring to work with smaller groups of students in highly interactive tutorial sessions. This program meets in groups of no more than 20, and often less. As working professionals, you’ll be expected to exercise some say as to the way each session is shaped and delivered. The goal will be to make each student more confident, employ=yable and economically aware.

    Career Possiblities

This degree is designed to be multidisciplinary at its core. This allows you to seek a career in a wide range of sectors and business types, or more likely to increase your promotion potential in your current organisation. Employers of all kinds will value the range of skills you’ll command, including creative thinking, problem solving, leadership, team building and effective communication. You will also have the support of the university’s Careers and Employability team at all times.

    Entry Credit

Successful completion will result in a full MBA degree.

Applicants must typically have earned a good undergraduate degree and have extensive work experience, but other qualifications are also accepted. The full list of accepted qualifications can be found here.

All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An excellent IELTS score of 6.5 overall would qualify, for example.
