    Learning & Teaching

    Your contact time with the University of Derby’s professors and teaching staff will consist of a mix of large scale lectures, smaller seminars and laboratory skills workshops. Employability and professional skills training will be a part of nearly every module. In addition to attending classes, you’ll be able to visit a wide range of different health care settings. You’ll be assessed via examinations and coursework, including seminar presentations and data analysis.

    Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 3 year BSc degree.

    Applicants must typically have achieved at least 120 UCAS Tariff Points, or the international equivalent. Beyond that, a wide range of qualifications are accepted.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An excellent IELTS score would qualify, for example.
