    Course Summary

An MSc in Computing and International Business from the University of Dundee gives students both a solid understanding of the technology and application of modern information systems but also an understanding of the global business environment in which they are so often used. Perhaps more importantly, you’ll have a solid grasp on user-centred software and app design, often referred to as ‘UX’ expertise.

As a Computing with International Business MSc graduate, you will have been able to tailor the program to your own interests and chosen career path to an unusual degree. There are no ‘core’ or ‘required’ modules, and you have all but a free hand to choose any modules on the lists, within a very generous and flexible framework.

This degree will ensure that you are able to answer the call for highly trained IT professionals who can also serve as responsible decision-makers and managers in a business context.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, you will have gained many transferable skills. By taking the conversion route into law, you are showing motivation and determination by choosing law at a later stage than some others. This looks good to employers.
