    A BA degree in Accounting and Finance from Greenwich University is a great way to prepare yourself for an exciting and rewarding career in finance.     Course Outline

    This degree program is typically delivered over 3 years at full time, 4 years at full time including a Sandwich placement year, or up to 6 years taken at part time.

    Year 1

    Your first year will see you learning the basics of business, management and accounting, as well as beginning to learn the advanced accounting skills you’ll need to thrive.

    Year 2

    Learning & Teaching

    The University of Greenwich offers a professionally accredited Accounting and Finance program. In addition to large scale lecture classes and more interactive tutorial or seminar sessions, you’ll spend between 20 and 30 hours each week learning independently, reading and preparing for class. Lecture classes are typically between 30 and 240 students whilst seminars and tutorials are more likely to be limited to 15-30 students. In all, you’ll devote around 10 hours for each credit you take.

    This degree is respected all over the world, as are the professional awards you’ll be earning exemptions towards. You can further enhance your employability by taking the optional placement year, learning industry specific sills in a real world context.  

    Some graduates have joined large accountancy firms, but others have specialised in consultancy, stock broking or auditing. Many recent students now work with names like Barclays Investment Bank, KPMG, Grant Thornton and others.

    Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 3 year BA degree.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An excellent IELTS score would qualify, for example.
