The pharmaceutical industry is one of the UK’s fastest growing, and employs more high level graduates every year all over the world. In fact, most of the developed nations are struggling to supply all the Master’s level graduates the industry demands. That makes this an excellent career choice for anyone with an inquisitive mind and a background in pharmaceutical science, pharmacy, biochemistry, biology or even chemistry.

As you progress through this program, you’ll learn research and laboratory skills unique to the pharmaceutical industry as well as practical skills relating t the development and manufacture of medicines and other pharmaceutical products.

This program is taught by expert professors who can boast a great deal of experience in the industry. You’ll study in cutting edge facilities which were designed and built specifically to replicate the experiences and environments you can expect when you begin working in the pharmaceutical industry.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, you will have gained many transferable skills. By taking the conversion route into law, you are showing motivation and determination by choosing law at a later stage than some others. This looks good to employers.
