    The University of Hertfordshire’s MSc in Advancing Clinical Pharmacy Practice is a unique 1 year Master’s level program which is perfect for registered, practicing pharmacists who have at least 6 months of patient-facing experience.     Course Outline

    This degree program is typically delivered over a single year at full time.

    Modules Include:

    • Clinical Pharmacy in Practice

    This module will convey the practical skills that you will need to succeed in any clinical pharmacy setting. It will familiarise you with many different clinical settings and the roles unique to each.

    • Core Competencies in Pharmacy Practice

    This module makes sure that you have the ‘core competencies’ any advanced clinical pharmacy practitioner will need, regardless of setting or role.

    • Leadership in Practice

    This module prepares you to take up a leadership, managerial or responsible role and to oversee the work of other pharmacists and medical professionals in a health care team.

    • Work-Based Learning for Pharmacists

    This will be a chance to practice your skills in the real world. You’ll work directly with actual patients, with extensive supervision.

    • Project (ACPP)

    This will be an extensive project, serving as one of the capstones for this program.

    Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 1 year MSc degree.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no section lower than 5.5 would qualify, for example.
