Though this degree can be taken in just 3 years, many students opt to add a foundation year. The foundation year will serve several purposes. First it will give you an introduction to studying and taking tests at a university level, and get you used to life at the University of Hull. It will also introduce basic scientific principles and background knowledge. It is perfect for those with experience but no degree awards, those without high UCAS Tariff scores or for those who are returning to education after a long absence.
