    Course Outline

    This degree program is typically delivered over a single year at full time.

    The content of this degree program focuses on giving you advanced leadership and research skills, and will allow you to manage teams of engineers in the office or the field, as well as to deliver professional project management services.

    Individual Project

    The capstone of this degree program is the Individual Project. This can be oriented either as a design project or research and development project. Either option will see you undertaking all aspects of a professional project, from initial planning and research design through to data gathering, analysis, critical review and presentation. It will give you a great deal of project management experience, which will in turn be very useful in all of your future endeavours.

    Learning And Teaching

    Hull’s MSc degree program in Engineering Management is delivered using a many different teaching methods. Though the mix varies from module to module, you can expect to experience formal lectures given by the university’s own research staff and visiting speakers, smaller interactive seminars, skills workshops and simulation sessions which will make you familiar with most of the discipline’s standard procedures and software packages.     All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An excellent IELTS score would qualify, for example.
