    The University of Lethbridge offers a unique New Media Management that can be taken ether through the Dhillon School of Business as a BoM, or through uLethbridge generally as a BFA. Either option will see you exploring the ways culture, technology, industry and art all interconnect in modern digital media. You’ll develop the kind of technical and creative skills you need to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry, as well as the critical sensibilities you’ll need to become a top practitioner. 

    In addition, you’ll learn the management, marketing, accounting, human resources and policy skills you’ll need to find success in business. Taking this program as a Bachelor of Management degree provides all the training necessary for you to enter into the field of New Media as a leader or manager, as well as a skilled practitioner.

    Learning And Teaching

    The University of Lethbridge’s Dhillon School of Business uses a range of learning and teaching techniques to convey the skills and background knowledge you’ll need to succeed in your career. They vary depending on the subject of the module but you can expect a great deal of time in lecture halls, working in small groups on skills tutorials, and of course co-operative educational opportunities. Overseas and work study positions are also available. 

    Career Possibilities

    A BoM or BFA in New Media Management will open up more career doors than you might expect. In addition to getting a Master’s degree in the Arts or MBA, you can go directly into the job market. 

    New Media Management graduates from uLethbridge have become illustrators, developers for film, television and the stage, web designers, graphic artists, art directors, digital artists, social media managers, creative directors, project co-ordinators, producers marketing content strategists, digital communications specialists, entrepreneurs and business owners. 

    Entry & Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 4 year Baccalaureate degree, a second degree or a combined degree.

    To apply, you’ll need to have a secondary school diploma which includes at least one language arts course, or the international equivalent. Other qualifications may be accepted. 

    All classes are taught in English unless otherwise specified. International students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test.
