    Learning And Teaching

    This program uses an integrated approach, combining physical, organic and inorganic chemistry principles with practical working skills and advanced laboratory techniques. You will participate in many small group exercises that will prepare you for the working environment, and of course you will do a great deal of independent reading and study. Later you’ll engage in industry-led projects and interdisciplinary work.

    This degree prepares you for a career in a range of different industries. Many graduates go into the pharmaceutical or bioengineering industries, but others have built very successful careers in the energy, petrochemical, and consumer goods industries.     Entry Requirements for UK and EU-nationals

    EntryThis MChem program typically requires applicants to have achieved 3 A levels at BBB or better, which should include Chemistry. A range of other, equivalent qualifications are also accepted.

     

    Entry Requirements for overseas (non-EU) students

    International students must be fluent in written and spoken English. This can be demonstrated with an IELTS score of at least 6.0, with no segment scoring less than 5.5. Again, a number of equivalent qualifications are accepted.

    They must also have academic accreditation equivalent to that required for UK and EU students.
