    The University of Ottawa’s MHA program is also delivered by the Telfer School of Management. It is open to candidates who meet the first degree requirements or those who have at least 10 years of relevant work experience. This program is closely linked with health care organisations, long term care facilities, hospitals and health agencies of all kinds as well as professional healthcare bodies throughout the US and Canada. 

    You’ll learn a great deal about leadership and management generally, as well as about issues unique to the healthcare industry. You’ll learn to identify the challenges and opportunities which arise, and to form an appropriate strategic response to each. 

    This program can be taken at full or part time, in order to remain accessible to those who want to change their career trajectory without pausing or abandoning their current situation. Some of the modules shared with the MBA program will be available in French. 

    If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness.     Learning And Teaching

    The University of Ottawa’s Master of Business Administration program is organised at the cohort level to foster a culture of teamwork, diversity and inclusiveness. It will be further divided into individual work groups, which will each include students with different backgrounds and strengths. All work groups will have enhanced access to the university’s computer facilities.

All of its services are free to students and alumni, including enhanced access to recruiters, an MBA Career Development Program and networking events of all kinds.

    Entry & Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 1 or 2 year MHA degree. 

    To apply you’ll need to have a Baccalaureate degree at the B / 70% level, or the international equivalent. Other qualifications may be accepted, and extensive work experience may be substituted. 

    All classes are taught in English unless otherwise specified. International students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test.
