    A BA in Arts and Business from Waterloo University will give you a wide range of general business and management skills. It will also let you choose any of 23 different majors in the Arts and study that curriculum as well. 

    You’ll have the ability to further customise your degree if you’d like. You can add a minor field of study, or a second Honours major as well. You’ll also have access to a co-operative study program where you can graduate with several months of real world experience under your belt – a huge employability boost.     Learning And Teaching

    The University of Waterloo’s BA program in Arts and Business is delivered primarily through lectures and seminars, though you will participate in skills workshops and special events as well. Some modules may be available as distance learning or blended learning programs. 

    All of Waterloo’s degree programs focus in ‘the three Es’, Education, Experience and Employment. They include extensive work based and co-operative education options which yield valuable hand-on experience and improve neatly any CV. 

    Career Possibilities

    UWaterloo’s Arts and Business program will give you a very wide range of skills. Not only will you have a specific arts degree on your CV, you’ll have the business classes and transferrable general skills you’d need to qualify for a role in public relations, human resources, law, communications, project management, marketing, government and regulation, or business and management more generally. The addition of co-operative work experience can only make you more employable. 

    Entry & Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 4 year BA degree.

    Applicants must typically have completed a high school program at a Canadian secondary school, or the international equivalent. Great weight will be given to the GPA earned by your final year.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test.
