About the Authors

Dr Nessar Ahmed teaches at Manchester Metropolitan University, where he holds the post of Reader in Clinical Biochemistry. He specialises in diabetes, looking mostly at protein glycation. However, he teaches classes in analytical science, endocrinology and clinical biochemistry as well.
