About the Author
Tim Lenton is the Chair in Climate Change and Earth Systems Science at the University of Exeter. His research focuses on Earth System Models, looking at the behaviour of the world as a closed, interlocking system. He helped to develop the Gaia Hypothesis, and works to reconcile it with traditional evolutionary theory.
In Earth System Science: A Very Short Introduction, he explains how humans can find a less disruptive place in the earth’s system.
