About the Authors

 

Dr Alan B Johnston is an important part of Avaya Inc’s technical staff. He is a specialist in the application and development of the SIP protocol. Dr Johnston did his PhD work at Lehigh University, and teaches electrical engineering at Washington University as well. He has co-authored SIP-related RFCs like SIP specification RFC 3261.
